So let's review the list of departing Bush cabinet members:
- Don Evans, Commerce
- John Ashcroft, Justice
- Rod Paige, Education
- Spencer Abrahms, Energy
- Ann Veneman, Agriculture
- Colin Powell, State
Good riddance, I say. But I'm afraid their replacememnts will be just as bad.

Well, we know that Condoleeza Rice will be nominated for Colin Powell's job. That one will certainly pass through the Senate nomination process. Alberto Gonzales will pass too, but hopefully the Dems will question him about his memo over the war on terror not needing to follow the Geneva Conventions. As to the others, I have an idea only for one. Dr. Weast, Superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schoools, for Education. If they move someone up internally which is possible, but not likely, I could more easily see him as a lesser appointee. But I think he has the potential. Right now he heads a so-called bellweather county. He's also a great political yes man. The first time around a few of us though Weast would get some job in the Education Department, now he has a whole new chance.
I don't need anonymous morons telling me my blog sucks.
